ネクサス7はいわゆるエトオクリアセブンへのオマージュとして誕生した。彼らはどんな状況にも立ち向かい、どんな状況でも勝利できるエリート工作員の集団であり、その驚異的な偉業を成し遂げた英雄たちを常に尊敬している。彼らは先代たちを模範とし、いつか禁断の故郷に戻るにふさわしい存在を目指す。その目標はあまりにも卓越しており、最大の英雄的行為を必要とする。しかし、ネクサス7にとって「不可能」は標準的な作戦手順であり、彼らを阻止しようとする者は災いに見舞われる。
 
Nexus-7 were born as a homage to the so-called Etteoklia Seven. They are an elite group of operatives capable of facing any situation and prevailing in any circumstance, always looking up to those heroes who pulled off that amazing feat. They aim to emulate their predecessors so that they will one day be worthy of returning to their forbidden homeland too, a goal so exceptional that it requires the greatest of heroics. However, for the Nexus-7 “impossible” is just their standard operating procedure, and woe betide anyone who tries to stop them from achieving their ultimate goal.
