It's an ITS Blog

This is perhaps super over due in both writing and getting out to you all, however I have been crazy busy during, October, November and December, then of course there was Christmas and New Year which always throw confusion into the works.

First let’s kick off with the basic information, The tournament will be held on the 26th of January with the first round starting at 11:00 AM. Ideally people should be arriving between 10:00-10:30 to get themselves ready. The event will be in room 403 at Green Palace 1 Chome-38-1 Matsushima, Edogawa City, Tokyo 132-0031.

What you will need to bring with you is:

  1. The miniatures/Army you will be using

  2. Your Tokens and templates

  3. Dice

  4. Classified deck (If you don’t have one yet we will have some on hand to be bought)

  5. A courtesy list (these are printed out from the Army App)

  6. 2 Paper copies of your list, one for the Tournament organiser (TO) and one for you

  7. A HVT model

Your army doesn’t need to be painted, however it is IMPORTANT to paint/indicate the face on your miniatures base! This is simply indicating the 180 degree vision your miniature has.

What will you need to have done prior to the event:

  1. Create an account with Corvus Belli to get your ITS Pin (https://profile.corvusbelli.com/register) the ITS Pin is a letter followed by four number, for example, S7087.

  2. Submit 2 army lists through the Army App

  3. Both list must belong to the same Sectorial of Vanilla faction (2 lists from Yu Jing or 2 lists from The Steel Phalanx)

  4. This must be done one week before the event (19th of January)

There are three rounds the first is Looting an Sabotage, second Frontline and third Decapitation. Each round will last 1 hour 45 mins, this will include everything from deployment to competition and working out scores.

The first game is drawn randomly – and then game two and game three are paired up using the “Swiss” system e.g. the top 2 players are paired, next 2 etc. If there are an odd number of players, the lowest ranked player will earn a Bye.

In each game, you earn Tournament Points. Three Points for a Total Victory, Teo Points for a Victory, One Point for a Draw, 0 points for a Defeat (and 2 points for a Bye).

The type of victory you earn is based on the Objective Points you earn. If you have 5 or more OPs than your opponent you get a Total Victory. If you have 1-4 VP’s more you get a Victory.

In each game, you also count the number of Victory Points you have scored, which is equal to the total of your surviving troopers army points cost.

For the overall tournament standings, the placings are determined first on Tournament Points. Ties are first broken by Objective Points and then finally by Victory Points.

You will be given a sheet to fill in all the match details and will look something like this:
